I love feeding Mack... it's quite a challenge and yet very entertaining. At first he was great, didn't spit it out, didn't bite the spoon, didn't blow bubbles with it, didn't try and slap it out of my hand... but i guess he was getting bored with this. Now it's all of the above and still, he pleasantly surprises me with something new... maybe today it will be kicking the jar out of my hands, sneezing with a mouthful, or shutting his mouth so that i can't get the spoon in (this one seems to make him laugh the most).

Larkin Family Reunion 2009
We got to go up to Duck Creek for our annual Reunion. I have been going up there since i was a little kid and i am so happy to be able to take MY little kids now! Even though every child up there is caked with mud and dirt, you can't help but love being there. Though i will never again go camping with a baby and an unheated tent, i still loved it! For some reason my little son Hunter always has to be the only kid to fall into the lake... good thing i planned for this and brought 2 pairs of shoes and extra clothes :)

THE ONE WITH MACK STEWY
I had my baby!!! Mack was born on March 22 at 3:31pm. He weighed 7lbs 9oz and was 21" long. I started having contractions at midnight, held out as long as i could, but finally drug Tyler to the hospital at 5:30am. I was one of 6 girls that went in that night and the only one that got to stay, thank goodness (the others were false alarms). My doctor was out of town so i had to wait for Dr. Martin to get out of an emergency c-section... that 10 minutes was the longest of my life. But as soon as he arrived it was 5 pushes and Mack was born! It was an amazing experience- I feel that way now of course but during labor i swore we were adopting the rest of our kids :) I LOVE being a mom- even with all the late nights and not knowing at all what i'm doing, i LOVE it!

THE ONE WITH THE PHOTO SHOOT
THE ONE WITH THE ARGO
We went down to LA this weekend to get baby material and we stayed on our boat in Newport- The Argo. We've been going to the boat our entire lives, but this is the first time we took it out sailing thanks to our Uncle Greg. So much fun and on a perfect day. Our only job was to put on the steering wheel and fortunately after a few frustrating minutes we managed to make it work...

THE ONE WITH THE LITTLE WEENIE
I had my 20 week ultrasound yesterday and it took the nurse less than 5 seconds to figure out IT'S A BOY!! It was the neatest thing ever to see this little baby moving all over. I haven't been able to feel him in my tummy yet so to know that he's alive and kicking is so exciting! He kept putting his little hand in front of every picture, so cute! The last picture on here is the 3D one... i can tell that it's his little face with his button nose and he's yawning, i hope you can all figure out what it is too! He has his two arms up around his face. Oh i just love him already!!! Hunter and his daddy were there with me and he was super excited that it's a boy. He asked if he could teach him how to ride a bike one day :) I hope he's as tall and good looking as his dad... but weighs only 6 pounds at birth... the doc says he's a big baby... yikes.
