Our new little buddies

We have a couple of extra buddies hanging out with us lately! Brody and Vance. It has been such a blessing having these two around. Mack and Brody lead the pack and usually our days are filled with giggles, forts, backyard play and bear hunts...

... and sometimes it's full of time outs, huge messes, and insane chaos. But we really wouldn't have it any other way :)

All i wanted was ONE picture of them both looking at me! Arrgghh!

So much fun here! You could just see their imaginations going wild ;)

Poor Wyatt... Mack just went with it, but Wy stood in protest.

Visiting Mimi In Heber

We went on a nature walk up to some springs and Wyatt ended up getting stung 5 times by wasps! Poor kid. He only cried for about 3 minutes, so tough, but how sad!
Mimi's chickens got some extra attention... i'm sure they loved it :)

Lake Powell 2010

I didn't think Powell would be fun cuz i'd be chasing a 15 month old dare devil around the whole time, but we actually had a blast. Mack and i only went for 2 days but Hunter got to go for the whole week. Ty stayed home to man the fort. I was so impressed that Mack could doggy paddle. I had floaties on him (they were pink cuz we borrowed them from Scarlett) and he loved swimming and was really good- only swallowed maybe a gallon of lake water. Hunter cliff jumped, did front flips off the boat, and built sand castles with Nazi flags all over them... we told him that those were not quite appropriate and so he changed them to German ones :) We missed Ty a whole lot, but we were glad to be able to go. Thanks Mimi and Papa!

Baby Boy #2 on his way!!

We're having another boy!! I was kinda hoping for another boy cuz i'm loving how easy Hunter and Mack have been. I don't have to change the nursery, i don't have to go shopping for cute little dresses and ruffled bloomers and headbands and all that frilly stuff. Boys are just easy, dirty, messy, easy :) Tyler has his heart set on naming him Dash... which i'm not too keen of but i'll at least say i'm giving it thought. We found out at 14 weeks so we can't be 100% sure, but the ultrasound pictures made it pretty clear that it's a him so we're going with that for now. I'm so excited to be pregnant again. I know it comes with the not so fun parts, but i really love the excitement it brings and the belly. Call me weird, but i love it! So funny that my parents went from having all girls to having 5 grandsons all under 18 months old! My sister is having twin boys so we have a full Basketball team!! Go Rapp-ewarts!!

Bubbles

Mack has been the most cuddly little boy lately. I know this is just a phase that he's going through, but i hope it lasts forever! Anything soft he goes right up to and rests his head on it. My favorite was when we were at a birthday party and the little girl opened up a gift that had a soft blanket inside. Mack walked right over as she was showing everyone and laid down right in the middle of it. So cute!! If i'm sitting on the couch, he'll walk over and rest his head on my knee, or when you first pick him up he'll lay his head down on your shoulder. We even found him laying on the tile floor with his head on a soft toy that was laying there. I just can't put it into words how adorable it is! Pictures just don't do it justice.

Our Newest Addition

Yes, another bullmastiff puppy! We love this breed and sadly we had to give Daisy back to the breeder, but this is one of her pups. We named him Moto and he is the best puppy i've ever had. Still working on some of the training, but he has been wonderful around the tortoises and the baby. Him and Bella are so fun to watch wrestle cuz her head alone is bigger than he is. I just hope we have our land before he gets full grown or it's going to get a little crowded around here ;)

Mack's Favorite Things

These are just a few things on Mack's Favorite list... my favorite is the "looking at you upside down" thing. I have no idea where he got this from, but he loves it! He loves to climb into places that he can't get out of. He'll chew on anything, especially if it's something that he's not supposed to. I just love that whatever he thinks of doing, he smiles like it's the newest best thing.

Mack at 6 Months Old

We thought this was hilarious... he did it much faster before we got the camera out, so he was a little worn out for this take... still funny.

Growing up!

Mack is growing up way too fast! He has been non-stop from day one. He likes to climb into and onto everything, chew on anything, and will open and close doors all day long. His favorite is the fridge, and of course he's not allowed to play with it, so whenever it opens he crawls as fast as his little body will go and try to get in before it closes. It's so funny how they know what they aren't allowed to do, but will try anything to be able to do it :)
